The 2530 South Espina building was built as a single family home well before 1900 (I have not researched the exact date). It was built in the indigenous style of Las Cruces, with adobe walls 24" thick. The original construction had solid oak flooring and 10' high ceilings. Most of the apartments in this building are small, ideally suited for single students who arrive with their computer, clothes and books. These small units can easily be furnished.
